Seniors program and walkfit — September through June
Windsor Park seniors meet weekly at the community hall for a range of activities, including bingo, dominoes, crafts and floor curling. Free coffee and snacks are served along with lots of laughter and comradeship. If you wish to join this group, email wpca5304@yahoo.ca.
Cribbage tournament
This is typically in early spring. Sign-up and meet others who love crib for a rousing one-day tournament.
Flower sale & Seedling/perennial exchange — mid May
Each year, we have garden day at the Windsor Park Community Hall. We invite community members to order their spring blooms from Growing Smiles. On pickup day, our Gardening and Beautification Committee also holds a seedling and perennial exchange at the hall. It’s a chance to grab a coffee and meet others who love to garden.

Neighbour Day Coffee in the Park — June 20, 2026.
Calgary celebrates Neighbour Day on the third Saturday in June. In Windsor Park, we host a free drop-in coffee in the park for the morning. Each year has different games, snacks and volunteer-led activities. It’s a simple way to take a break and meet a neighbour.

Neighbourhood Clean-up — July 26
We try to get one of the City of Calgary’s big bin events here every other year. In 2026, it will be on July 26. There will be two large city garbage trucks at the hall and hopefully some recyclers as well. Bring your oversized trash and avoid a trip to the dump.
Movie in the Park — September 6, 2026
Come out for popcorn, treats and a free movie in the park. This is shown on a big screen just outside the community hall. Stay tuned for details.
Halloween Party — last Saturday before Halloween
This is a party for the younger kids. Come out in your costumes, make some crafts, join a parade and have some treats.
Holiday Craft Market — late November
The Windsor Park Holiday Craft market is normally late November. This is a smaller market with no cover charge to visit and a fantastic selection of raffle prizes.
AGM — early December
The Windsor Park Community Association is completely volunteer run and getting involved is a great way to get connected and know your neighbourhood. We’re always looking for new board members and would love to talk about your interests. Reach out to communications@windsorparkca. ca.
Skating Party — late December or early January
Celebrate the start of the skating season with fire and hot chocolate. Lately, we’ve even had free skate rentals and lessons from a friendly neighbour.
Casino — Every 18 months
This is Windsor Park’s biggest fundraiser. It’s what pays for on-going hall maintenance and other costs. By volunteering for a shift, you can really make a big difference in the neighbourhood.
