Windsor Park has created a development committee to review proposals from developers.

RECENT DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY:

DP2019-5865: Multi Story development on 58th Avenue from Elbow Drive to middle of the block (Greg presented this development at the AGM in December 2019)

The Brava Oculus Information Session (DP2019-5865) scheduled for March 18, 2020 has moved to an online platform for event delivery. This step is being taken in line with the COVID-19 recommendation of the Alberta Government to postpone gatherings. The City of Calgary has also cancelled its forthcoming Outreach Events and we are falling in line with this best practice.

 To facilitate this change, the developer will:

  • Host a “virtual information session” website with a built-in feedback form for stakeholders to provide feedback to and ask questions of the project team.
    • This website will go live on Wednesday, March 18 and will be open for collection of feedback for a two week period (March 18 – April 1). We kindly request that the WPCA share this website link on the Events page of their website: www.oculusyyc.com

PREVIOUS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY:

No further updates on the planned high-rise development at 5th street & 58th Avenue SW (East on 58th to the middle of the block)

LOC2017-0367 Multi-family building on 55th Avenue & Elbow Drive SW.  LOC was approved by Council in November 2018.  Development Permit application has not yet been submitted.

DP2019-3341 Childcare facility in First Evangelical Free Church:  APPROVED

DP2019-3840 Noisy condenser unit in alley behind Planet Organic:  RESOLVED BY RESIDENTS and DEVELOPER
